The Saab 9-3 enters 2005 as a carryover model. It is again available in six trims: Linear, Arc, and Aero, all in either sedan or convertible bodystyles. A 2.0L I-4 engine powers the 9-3, producing 175-hp on base models and 210-hp on higher trims. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, or a five-speed automatic with auto-manual capabilities. Standard equipment across the board includes a full floor console, four-wheel ABS brakes, remote keyless entry, power convenience features, and steering wheel radio controls. The optional Premium Package, offered on the Linear, includes a power moonroof, a power drivers seat, and a six-disc CD changer. Other options include rain-sensing wipers, red wood interior trim, and a parking assist system.
