Description  For 2005, the MR2 Spyder convertible returns with no major changes. This sporty two-door convertible features a 138-hp 1.8L engine and either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed sequential manual transmission (SMT). Available for this year is the optional limited slip differential, available on both models. Leather seating and interior trim can also be equipped optionally, featuring black, red, or tan interior choices. Some post-production options (PPO`s) for this year include an emergency assistance kit and titanium and chrome shift knobs. Other available PPO`s include alloy wheel locks, carpeted floor mats, a security system, and interior simulated wood trim on the dashboard. Toyota may discontinue the MR2 at the end of this model year.
