Description  New for 2006, Pontiac enters the market with their two-seater roadster, the Solstice. The design of the car evokes European styling, with a long hood and a wide stance for better handling (the vehicle can achieve .90 lateral G`s, and a soft top that fits completely inside the rear clamshell decklid. The interior of the car features sport bucket, race inspired contoured seats, two-tone leather seating, and gauge cluster. The Solstice comes standard with aluminum 18-inch wheels and a 2.4L Ecotec 177-hp engine that produces 166 lb-ft of torque. Air conditioning, ABS brakes, a six-disc CD changer, and a Power Package are all optional. In early 2006, Saturn will be introducing the Sky, a sister car to the Solstice, as a 2007 model.
