Description

The 2009 Pontiac G5 is available in two trims: base and GT. Both models are powered by a revised Ecotec 2.2L four-cylinder engine generating 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. Variable valve timing is added to the 2.2L engine, enabling a dramatic increase in efficiency, as well as an increase in fuel economy. Standard features include head curtain side impact airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, and XM satellite radio. The GT also adds StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, anti-lock brakes, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated seats, fog lights, cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, and leather-wrapped shift knob. Two new exterior colors are now available: Quicksilver Metallic and Silver Green Metallic.
