Description

For 2005, the Mazda6 is now available in sedan, hatchback, or wagon configurations. The sedan trims are i Sedan, Grand Touring, i Grand Touring, i Sport, and s Sport. The wagon trims are s Wagon, s Sport, and Grand Touring Sport. The hatchback trims are i Sport and s Sport. A 2.3L V6 220hp engine powers all models and is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. New for this year is the optional six-speed automatic transmission on the Sport models. The s trims has standard automatic climate control and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the i trims adds the new optional Security Package, side impact airbags, and an alarm system. ABS Brakes are standard on all models.
