Description

The Accord Sedan returns for 2005 with minimal changes. There are only three trims available on the Accord sedan: DX and LX and EX in four-cylinder or V6 engine configurations. Side curtain and front side airbags are now standard on all models. The taillights have been redesigned and the LX and EX models receive a new wheel cover design. The 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine produces 160 hp and 161 lbs.-ft of torque while the 3.0L VTEC V6 is capable of producing 240 hp and 212 lbs.-ft of torque. Both engines are available in a low emissions output format (PZEV and ULEV) in California and some parts of the Northeast. A navigation system is available on the EX models with leather interior. A DX Value Edition is also available.
