Description

The 2005 Ram 2500 remains available in Regular Cab and Quad Cab in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The Ram 2500s are equipped with a 5.7L Hemi Magnum V8 engine with 330 horsepower at 5400 rpm and 375 lb.-ft of torque at 4400 rpm. In addition, the Cummins 5.9L Turbo Diesel is available in a High Output version that boasts 305 horsepower and a huge 555 lb.-ft of torque. An Off-Road Package is available on the SLT Quad Cab. This package includes a limited slip differential, 4.10 axle ratio, fog lights, LT265/70R17E On-Off Road tires, and Protection Package. For added safety, the Ram 2500 offers supplemental side impact airbags and a power adjustable pedal, along with a Security Group that includes an alarm system.
