Description

Cadillacs convertible two-seater sports car returns for 2005 with no major changes. The XLR is fitted with a 4.6L V8, producing 320 horsepower and 310 ft-lbs of torque, coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard luxury amenities include power leather seats, auto climate control, a vehicle navigation system, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. For safety, Cadillac builds the XLR with standard anti-lock disc brakes, side impact airbags, rain-sensing wipers, and daytime running and cornering lights. An optional XM satellite radio can be equipped for an extra cost. Interior wood trim choices include the new Dark Eucalyptus wood or the carryover Light Eucalyptus wood. New for this year is exterior paint color Blue Steel.
